Peazy Gifts — Refund and Return Policy
1. Introduction
1.1 This Refund and Return Policy (“Policy”) forms part of the Terms and Conditions of Peazy Gifts, a sole trader business registered in Australia under ABN 36 259 882 720 and trading as Peazy Gifts (“we”, “us”, “our”).
1.2 This Policy outlines the rights and responsibilities of customers in relation to refunds, exchanges, and returns for goods purchased through the Peazy Gifts website at www.peazygifts.com (“Website”).
1.3 All refunds and returns are processed in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
2. Australian Consumer Law Guarantees
2.1 Nothing in this Policy limits your statutory rights under the ACL. You are entitled to a refund or replacement if a product:
a. is faulty, damaged, or unsafe;
b. does not match the description provided;
c. is not fit for the intended purpose; or
d. fails to perform as reasonably expected.
2.2 Refunds or replacements under the ACL will be processed once the fault or issue has been verified.
2.3 Proof of purchase is required for all claims.
3. Change of Mind Returns
3.1 Peazy Gifts offers refunds for non-personalised, ready-made items if you simply change your mind, provided that:
a. you contact us within 30 days of receiving your order;
b. the item is unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging; and
c. you can provide proof of purchase.
3.2 Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer.
3.3 Once the returned item has been received and inspected, a refund will be issued to the original payment method.
3.4 Peazy Gifts does not offer store credit or exchanges for change-of-mind returns.
4. Personalised and Custom Orders
4.1 Due to their unique and made-to-order nature, personalised or custom products cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded for change of mind, incorrect spelling, or variations in design once production has commenced.
4.2 If a personalised item arrives faulty or damaged, customers must contact Peazy Gifts at info@peazygifts.comwithin five (5) days of receiving the item.
4.3 In the case of verified damage or production fault, Peazy Gifts will, at its discretion:
a. provide a replacement of the same item, or
b. issue a full refund via the original payment method.
4.4 Natural variations in materials (such as wood grain, colour tone, or engraving depth) do not constitute faults and are not eligible for replacement or refund.
5. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
5.1 Customers must inspect their order upon delivery and contact Peazy Gifts within five (5) days of receipt if any product is:
a. faulty or damaged, or
b. incorrect compared to the order placed.
5.2 Claims must include photo and/or video evidence showing the damage, defect, or discrepancy.
5.3 Where a claim is verified, Peazy Gifts will arrange a replacement item or issue a refund to the original payment method.
5.4 Peazy Gifts reserves the right to request the return of the faulty or incorrect item before issuing a replacement or refund.
6. Returns Procedure
6.1 To initiate a return, please contact us at info@peazygifts.com with the following information:
6.2 We will assess your request and provide return instructions, including the appropriate return address.
6.3 Customers are responsible for ensuring that return parcels are securely packaged and traceable. Peazy Gifts is not liable for items lost or damaged during return transit.
7. Refund Method and Processing Time
7.1 Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
7.2 Refunds will not be issued as store credit.
7.3 Once a refund has been processed, customers will receive an email confirmation.
7.4 Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.
8. Return Shipping Costs
8.1 For returns due to change of mind, incorrect address, or customer error, all return shipping costs are borne by the customer.
8.2 For returns due to a verified fault, defect, or damage, Peazy Gifts will cover the cost of return shipping or provide a prepaid shipping label.
9. Non-Returnable Items
9.1 The following items are non-returnable unless faulty under the ACL:
a. Personalised or custom-made products;
b. Digital downloads and templates;
c. Sale or clearance items;
d. Gift vouchers (if offered in future).
10. Digital Products
10.1 All sales of digital items (including templates, printables, or downloadable artwork) are final and non-refundable.
10.2 If you experience technical difficulties accessing a digital download, please contact us within seven (7) days of purchase for assistance.
10.3 Refunds or replacements will only be issued where a digital file is proven to be corrupted or inaccessible through no fault of the customer.
